How is the location of my ice cream truck recorded?

Each ice cream truck needs a tablet or smartphone running the application to transmit the truck's position. It is possible to pause or stop the transmission of your location, so that you have full control over when your location is visible. The tablet or smartphone has a built-in GPS chip and sends location data via the 3G/4G/5G network of the phone operators.

In which countries is the app available?

The app is available in all European countries and supports three languages: Dutch, French, and English.

Can I also use the app if I'm not driving around, but stationed at fixed locations?

Absolutely! Even when you're stationed at a fixed location, the app is very useful. Customers immediately see that you're on-site and actively selling — which isn't always obvious during unpredictable weather or on holidays and weekends, for example. Additionally, users can receive a notification as soon as you arrive at your location. Your ice cream truck also remains visible in the app to all users, which brings extra visitors.

Can I use the app without the "call the ice cream truck" feature?

Absolutely! Each ice cream vendor can choose whether to activate this feature or not. If the feature is enabled, additional settings can be added so that customers can only call the ice cream truck when they are nearby.

I have multiple ice cream trucks, can I connect them all to the app?

Yes, the driver of each ice cream truck will need a tablet or smartphone to record the location. The different ice cream trucks will then be displayed simultaneously on the map.
